Anyone who is actively involved in behaviour analysis in the UK is encouraged to join the Society. Membership Categories are based on an individual’s training and qualification in behaviour analysis. See our UK-SBA Membership Grid for a summary of the membership categories and requirements. All members agree to abide by the UK-SBA Code of Ethical and Professional Conduct and the UK-SBA Complaints Procedure. Behaviour analytic practitioners must provide evidence of appropriate insurance cover, a current Disclosure and Barring Service check and an up-to-date record of Safeguarding training.
The UK-SBA offers a range of benefits to members depending on membership category.
Members are able to post their details (qualifications, experience, special fields etc.) on the Voluntary Register and, if they choose to be, are searchable for work on the Register (students are an exception).
All members receive reduced fees on UK-SBA, EABG and EABA conference and training events, access to the UK-SBA Job Board (launching very soon) and access to “Members Only” areas of the website.
Membership dues must be renewed yearly to remain an active member of the Society.
